The Shimano Torium Star Drag Conventional Reel gives saltwater anglers a compact, high-rigidity reel for throwing irons, yo-yo jigs, live baits, and cut baits when tuna, yellowtail, kingfish, grouper, and other hard-running fish demand steady control. The HAGANE Body adds metal-frame strength, while the S-Compact Body keeps the reel more comfortable in hand through long days of casting and retrieving. HEG supports cranking power through the gears, frame, setplate, and handle-side side plate, giving the reel a solid feel when heavy fish dig deep or turn hard near structure. Super Free Spool eliminates friction on the spool shaft during the cast to help anglers get more out of every presentation, and Cross Carbon Drag expands the usable drag range for better control across different bait and lure applications.
