This rod fishes like the more expensive rods I've owned by St Croix ($150.00 rods) for a fraction of the cost. I had the older model with the foam grips that I was never really crazy about, but I went with them because it's hard to find fast action UL rods, that aren't buggy whips, in this price range. So, When I saw Shimano upgraded this "A" model to cork...I jumped on them and bought 3 UL in different lengths. Top notch rods at any price.

I just purchased two more of the SENS66ULA that we use for perch and crappie fishing in South Carolina. Great rods with good sensitivity and enough backbone to fish yellow perch 75 to 90 feet deep.

I ordered the 5'6" UL and the 6' L action rods. They seem very nice for the price. I fish a lot of higher end rods for bass and trout, but these rods seem to be as nice as rods costing twice as much. I love the reel seat and grips and the finish on the blanks. They are sensitive and are a true fast taper with a lot of back bone. I bought them to fish for panfish and trout on bigger waters as I usually use my 4'6" super UL rod for small streams and wanted something a little bigger. I paired the 5'6" with a Lews Speed Spin 7 bearing reel size 75 and the 6' L with the same reel size 100 and both are perfectly balanced. I am looking forward to getting out and using them soon. I think the 6' light action would even make a nice light action finesse rod for bass too. I am a fan. May look at some more in other sizes and actions.

I ordered a Shimano Sensilite spinning rod on February 8th. I got an email saying my rod would be delivered on the 14th of February. It is February 20th and I am yet to receive my rod. I was wondering if I can get an update on the status of where my rod is? My order number is 1194762, thank you. I sent an email prior asking about an update, but i don’t believe it sent through.
