Shimano Neoprene Spinning Reel Covers are designed to fit, whether the reel is on or off the rod. The new design allows these covers to fit right and left hand retrieve reels. Thick neoprene construction stretches to easily slip on and off a reel and provides protection from bumps and scratches. The velcro closure ensures a secure fit. Shimano Neoprene Spinning Reel Covers feature a blue Shimano logo on the side.

    This cover is what it is. Looks good and performs as expected. The quality is solid and should hold up over time. I am satisfied with this product. The size 'small' fits both size reels I own; 1500, 2500. Size small is a bit relaxed fitting on the 1500, but I like that. Being relaxed, it does not stretch and stress out the neoprene. I have other covers from different brands and I prefer this Shimano cover, because it wraps over the reel seat when in use. This is a good cover.

    These are very nice. I purchased three mediums for my Stradics. I would say these are a good fit for both the 2500/3000s (a little room to spare) and 4000s (snug). The neoprene is quite thick and they way they wrap around the delicate parts of the reel these covers inspire confidence that the reel will be well protected from damage due to knocks during transportation in the truck/boat on the way to the fishing spot. The fit is snug and secure with the velcro panels. They look nice and are well made, I think they will be machine washable. They do have a nice 'Shimano' logo on them, nothing wrong with that name...
