The Sheffield Floats are constructed of crystal clear plastic with your choice of Flo. Chartreuse, Flo. Orange or Flo. Pink hi-vis tops. The clear plastic material makes them nearly invisible in the water and at the same time very durable. These floats have a slot in the bottom section to put the line through, and come with silicone tubing to hold the line in place on the top and bottom of the float.

Floats My Boat
by Water Wader -
Quick and easy to use and the weight ratings are fairly accurate. Surprisingly good visibility at the small end of the spectrum. I haven't found any other floats that work better even at twice the price.
Sheffield floats for salmon and trout fishing

A good product for the money, serves the purpose it was intended for. Not as durable as a balsa float.
Best for steelhead float fishing in rivers

Easy to use for jigging
Very effective floats.

I like using these in the 6 or 7 gram size for big rivers. They are easy to see, sensitive, and because they are low profile, don't get blown around too much if their is wind.

These floats are deadly when trout fishing, being that they are clear and thin I believe the fish don't notice them. They drift nice and I buy the 2gram so it doesn't take much of a hit to pull one under, very sensitive to strikes.
best floats made
by Mike -
I use these floats for all my steelhead and trout fishing with sacs, live bait, flies, beads, you name it. Very low visibility, easy to use, drift nicely, cast well. Worth every penny, but not the cheapest float on the market. Throwing these in the trees gets expensive.
If your going for clear, low, water...

These are great for the low and clear water situations while float fishing. These things float great. The only downside to these is that they break pretty easily. I personally would recommend balsa floats for all other water conditions as they are much harder to break.
EXCELLENT STEELHEAD FLOATS

GREAT FLOATS FOR RIVER STEELHEAD
by Joe M. -
I use these floats for stream trout fishing. The streams I fish are generally clear and other floats/indicators tend to spook the fish. These clear floats do not.Their shape also offers very little resistance when the fish strike.I've had one or two out of 20 allow some water to leak into the float after use, other than that I would have given 5 stars.
No idea how to put them on the line.

Don't assume that these are self-explanatory to apply to fishing line. Let me see a picture of where the line goes etc.
not bad for the price

goode bobber but they leak after a days fishing so you need to seal the seams and crack easily it the hit rocks or something hard but good bobber for the price for a beginner

I found these floats to be as good as any that I've used in the past

I like the idea of the clear bottom on these floats, but the construction was kinda poor, took on water fairly quick. I reglued the seams and everything appears to be ok.

I first used these floats on a drift boat at the Salmon River while drifting for Steelhead, I liked them so much I bought some when I got home. They are well made & cast easily. I find the orange ones a little easier to see. I use these now for trout fishing on small streams, drifting flies, small minnows or eggs on spinning gear.
Worst floats I have ever used
These floats break within minutes of using them for the first time.
A good float at A good price

I use this float fishing in small Indiana creeks. They are very stealthy.
