Product Details

Setting new performance standards for castability, Seaguar Smackdown Braid is made with eight ultra-thin, micro-weave strands for a tight, round profile. The round profile and thin diameter allows you to put more line on your reel while creating less drag for smoother casts. Decreased drag increases sensitivity and allows your lures to achieve deeper depths. Smackdown Braid provides exceptional knot and tensile strength with unparalleled abrasion resistance. Its clear coat finish gives you quiet, laser-like casts and won't dig into your spool on the hookset. With superior construction, Seaguar Smackdown Braid is incredibly thin, yet tough enough for topwater baits or flipping and pitching in cover.

Superior Braid

by

Great braid for durability and cast-ability. I have found this braid to be superior in both of these categories and it does allow for me to use a smaller diameter in general.

No other line out there this smooth

This is an awesome line. I have been a big fan of Sufix 832. This line is comparable in strength but so much smoother. It casts long distances and it lays much more uniformly on the reel. The cost is still high but I was lucky to catch a sale on FishUSA, otherwise I might have passed.
