Product Details

Seaguar Blue Label Fluorocarbon Leader Material gives anglers the confidence to drop smaller line in clear water situations for steelhead on swing flies, vertical walleye jigging over rock, and tuna live-bait rigs offshore, using a proprietary double-structure process that fuses two 100% fluorocarbon resins for exceptional tensile and knot strength. Blue Label offers a reported 34% stronger knot strength than leading competitor fluorocarbons, so you can run lighter pound tests for a cleaner presentation without giving up impact strength around structure or abrasion resistance in current. The high-density resin blend creates a leader that stays virtually invisible underwater while resisting UV, cold conditions, and chemical breakdown during long days on the water.

  • Double-structure process fuses two 100% fluorocarbon resins
  • 34% stronger knot strength than leading competitor fluorocarbons
  • High tensile strength and excellent abrasion resistance
  • Virtually invisible underwater for clear water presentations
  • Available in 25 or 100 yard spools in 2 - 80lb test

best out there. love the soft resin coating making knots less likely to cut into themselves like fluoro is notorious for. tough and stiffer under soft exterior makes it very strong and dependable. very low viz/invisible to fish underwater. a little more expensive but worth every penny. seagar's yellow label "STS" gives you 100yds instead of 25 for the same price, and is my second favorite or tied for it at least, but i use the blue label when i want only the very best and am counting on it for success when fishing prized large steelhead and salmon. this is the fluorocarbon you want, bar none.

Look no further this is one of the best leader material in the market. It is abrasion resistant which is perfect for fishing around rocks and weeds. I use the #40 for striped bass fishing whether it is tying my own live bait rig or surf casting with plugs. I know I have confidence when using this. It has never failed me. I also use this for leaders on my tip ups when I'm fishing for finicky trout through the ice. It makes it virtually invisible which is important especially when fishing in ponds or lakes that gets a lot of fishing pressure. I keep various sizes in different strength. I have tried other fluorocarbon leaders out there and I find myself always going back to Seaguar. Overall great product.

Good strong leader material. I keep it in various strengths, and use it for everything from panfish to pike.
