Good basic rig for shallow to medium depth(up to about 20') panfish rig. Trouble free and durable. I've used the 26" combo for years, and just bought a couple of the 40" rigs for hole hopping outside the shack. I use spinning rigs from time to time, but keep coming back to the Schooleys for the durability and ease of use. The only downside, which is minor for me, is they don't have quite the action of a higher dollar rod,but the simplicity and lack of problems more than make up for it. The one thing I would like to change is to have a wooden handle instead of the plastic, even if it cost a little more.

So far in the last 2 years I have bought over 30 of these for tip down fishing. Every one I give/sell these too love them. Very nice for the money, I keeo finding more uses for these rods. 26" best for homemade tip downs. Will not be disapointed.
