Good rod for ice fishing
I used the 21" unit for perch fishing a couple of times and it outfished my old favorite pole. It has really good action.

Steel endring should be covered with plastic so the fishing line does not freeze in extreeme cold conditions.

Better than any expensive panfish rig I've ever used. If you fish for panfish through the ice, I would highly recommend owning at least one... I have three.
