great float cap

I fish the rivers in Ohio for steelhead with a center pin and floats. These caps were just the ticket to change floats for varying water conditions without having to change the whole setup. Simply just add a different Raven float and your ready to fish, the size of the caps fits all the Raven floats, it's great.
Just a little too big.

The 1/16" diameter size I ordered is just a shade oversize and won't grip on the 1/16" stem on my floats.
Surgical Tubing, cheaper and more of it.

Great float system

Great overall float system.. Change floats without cutting line or tying knots. Tubing grips the float very well to prevent slippage.

It's good float cap material.
A necessity if using Raven Floats

Cons: You have to buy both sizes. 3/32 for the top and 1/16 for the bottom. They are also not compatible with some other floats.

1. Raven should redesign so that only one size is needed. 2. These should be provided with the floats automatically even if the costs are raised.
