Perfection In Design And Look: Collector's Item

by IanLJones -

Being a Rapala fan, I bought several of these and have tested them. They have great action in the water and catch fish - Smallmouth Bass in particular seem to love hitting them. My experience is that they are durable - the hard plastic shell is pretty tooth resistant and protects the underlying detail. They are a highly produced lure in terms of attention to detail in the eyes, gill plates and scale texture, but can the fish see any of this? Due to their price, I wouldn't fish them in snaggy waters. They look beautiful in the tackle box. Nice collector's item.

Best in my tackle box

I fish walleye 24/7, 365. Last year I boated 521 walleye on Lake Huron alone. I use these in deep water on 2 and 3 color lead. Walleye like them early spring - shallow and then late summer - deep. I use a Sharpy to add some red to the lures. You will love these lures. The first time you limit out with them, you will forget the price.
