Product Details

P-Line CFX Fluorocarbon Leader Material gives anglers chasing trout, salmon, steelhead, or bass the stealth and toughness needed in clear water or heavily pressured fish zones. Made from 100% fluorocarbon, CFX delivers a refractive index that nearly matches water so fish can’t detect it, while high abrasion resistance protects against rocks, barnacles, or sharp edges. Low stretch improves sensitivity for subtle bites and solid hooksets, and built-in UV protection helps maintain strength and clarity even after repeated sun exposure. The ASA honored CFX with “Best New Line Introduction of the Year” recognizing its performance in leader and top-shot applications.

  • Virtually invisible underwater through matching refractive index for natural presentation
  • High abrasion resistance and UV protectors for durability
  • Low stretch factor for enhanced sensitivity and stronger hooksets
  • Clear, 100% fluorocarbon material ideal for line-shy, leader-shy fish
  • Quantity per pack: 1

Strong leader material, very abrasion resistant. I have used P-line products in the past with success, so this comes as no surprise. I fish this for trout/steelhead in Lake Ontario tribs with good luck, it hold up to stong bursts by these fish, and knots seem to hold well

    Best used with double clinch

Typically use a double reverse clinch with floor, however this leader did not like that knot, seems to be exceptionally strong with a regular double clinch
