Size 14 or 16 hook for crappies are the bomb. Sticky sharp and yet to miss a fish. If you have never used them, definitely give them a try.

I have been using these trebles for many years and have them on all my crank baits, jerk baits, and minnow lures. They are extremely sharp, tough, and balanced since they use three equal pieces of wire to make them unlike other trebles that weld on a third hook onto a double hook. Unfortunately many of the higher end lures are now using less expensive hooks and it is a shame to lose a trophy fish due to cheap hardware. You can often upsize your hooks even with finesse lures because of the better balance these hooks provide and their hook points are more resistant to rolling over when a big fish slams you into the rocks. For 8 years the only replacement treble I have purchased are the STBC 36 and 46 hooks.
