I got the 5'6 one piece version. Took it out today for the first time and yeah, its a good rod. Paired with a 1000 size reel I was easily slinging 3/32 jig heads. I only caught small fish today (small bass, cichlids, blue gill) but the rod worked as expected. I will say my only "issue" is that the guides are not aligned perfectly straight on mine. If I paid $100 for it, I would have sent it back. But for the price, it's not a deal breaker. The rod was delivered well packed in a hard cardboard tube

Bought 56 rod on recommendation from the online outdoorsman on YouTube. Its a great lightweight addition to the arsenal. Casts a 1/8oz beetle spin for me 22-25 yards with 6lb trilene xl. The cork handles are comfortable for extended fishing. Lightweight and paired with a Daiwa Exceler 1000 it makes a great panfish combo. Ill have to put it in rougher conditions to see how durable it is.

I bought this in the 5'6" model, I was wondering how good of a rod it could be for 40 bucks, I can honestly say I was very impressed with it, great build quality, very sensitive rod, I put a Daiwa Revros LT1000 on it and this is a great budget friendly ultra lite combo, I've caught a bunch of fish with it so far, it's turning into one of my favorite rods.

I purchased this 13 DEFY Silver 7' fishing rod a year ago after handling it in a large store. Couldn't believe the quality build and how it handled for the price. Never heard of the DEFY brand. It sat in the garage for a year but I took it on a crappie fishing trip to SW Arkansas last week. It quickly became the star of the show between all my other lightweight rods for casting 1/16 oz crappie jigs. Distance, accuracy and control were a dream with this rod. I actually landed a 19" largemouth with this ultra-light 1/32-3/32 weighted rod without a tremendous amount of effort. Just got home from the trip and found the gen I DEFY's available at FISH USA for $10-15 less than the big box stores. I purchased four more, two in ultra-light and two in the lightweight version. I generally don't rate/review products unless they are exceptional - avid fisherman for over 50 years. Beautifully built rods!
