    Great bait rod for the price. The tip could be a little softer but it will get the job done. I matched them up with some Okuma bait runner reels and plan on using them for surf fishing. I didnt want to sink a ton of money into surf gear and these are budget friendly.

    It's a solid rod with plenty of backbone for hauling strong fish through the rocks. I have two problems with it, though. Firstly, the butt end is a little too long and awkward to maneuver around your body. Also, it's too stiff for my liking. It doesn't really load well for casting... I just can't get enough whip to really sling my rigs. It is a beefy rod and good for the price.
