Okay, I don't understand why this rod doesn't have more hype in the ultralight trout community. Handle is awesome, bend is perfect, and its super light. Also doesn't break if you even breath near it like some of the high end $300 ones. My new favorite trout rod.

I have been waiting to get ahold of this rod for awhile. The one piece 7'6'. They came in stock at FishUSA and I grabbed one. I am an avid ultralight fisherman for trout and panfish. I am always looking for the perfect UL rod. This rod comes close to it! Beautiful flex at the at the tip, with plenty of backbone. I have this mated to a Quantum reel and 10 lb. Suffix 832 line. Shipping was prompt, it did arrive with the rod tube broken, but the rod was in great shape. I think I will get another when they are in stock again.

Very nice trout rod with the ability to cast long distance (if needed). Really great at detecting subtle bites and to be able to feel the spin or wobble of those types of baits. Landed a 16 inch rainbow with no trouble at all. I'm confident it will land any size freshwater trout that I'm likely to catch. Good product and Fishusa has really quick shipping on everything I order from them.

I purchased the Okuma GSP-S-802L and can say they got it right. The tip is very sensitive and responsive, the rod has great backbone for big trout. I throw 1/32 oz jigs for river trout so I chose the 8ft model. Paired with Shimano 1000 class reels this rod rocks. You get alot of features found on much higher priced on this rod by Okuma.
