Okuma Celilo Kokanee Pro Trolling Rod

This is a killer rod for a killer price good finish good action paired with a Daiwa 250 Millionaire bought two will buy more

Great action

by -

Soft action helps to keep the hooks from ripping out of the soft mouths of Kokanee. Wish I could find them in longer lengths

Great Light Action Trolling Rod

Great Rod for Light Action Downrigger Trolling for Trout.

Great light trolling rod!

I paired this rod up with a vintage Shimano Bantam Mag loaded with 6lb. fluorocarbon. I fish small lakes and reservoirs for trout from my small aluminum boat. Trolling small spoons and drifting live herring provide my omega-3.The rod is perfect for this type of fishing and if I ever catch the BIG ONE, I think it can handle it.

STRIPER!!!!!

I have been looking for something to go one level in the weight class from my HMG Fenwick to cast 3-4 oz weights past the breakwater here on Long Island. 20# is the min with a solid casting reel (TICA Striper LE200). Great for long reach out and putting the bait at the fish.

Good quality for the money

Good rod can be used for rainbow trout and salmon

Excellent rod

The rod is used everyday for trout fishing with my downriggers. Caught a nice 11 pounder last Friday morning and the rod made a difference in getting the fish in the net or losing it. Held out well even with a lot of bend in it. Glad I bought it.

you get more then your moneys worth

Okoma 10/30 works great for casting heavy jigs or fishing heavy cover for the realy big ones; It is easy to cary when taken down into two pieces, and has a reach of 8ft. good for saltwater fishing too for yellow tail, halibit, whiteseabass, and some of the tuna family.

IT'S NOT A FISH TILL IT'S ON THE BANK.

Okay for the price

I would recommend this rod only to someone wanting to spend as little money as possible for a trolling rod. $25 more buys one a much better rod (Lamiglass)

Best Buy on a Quality Rod

This is one of the finest rods you can own (even without consideration of the price).I now own 14 of these rods(all purchased fron Fish USA)that I have put to the test fishing for Salmon,Steelhead,Trout and Kokanee in both rivers and lakes.I reside on the Salmon River in Idaho and fish 2-5 day a week all year long and have been very satisifed with these rods and hope you are also.

Great rod for a great price

I bought this rod to use for trolling for trout on small high mountain lakes and I couldn't have selected a better platform. The rod is sensitive and has a great feel when fighting fish. This is my second Okuma rod and I would not hesitate to buy another one as the quality is right up there with the more expensive rods on the market.
