1/16 oz Northland Forage Minnow Jig'N Spoons
by CFosterI -
I bought 4 of these in the 1/16 oz for ice fishing ponds in Ohio during the 2013/14 season. I have been impressed. These have worked well for bluegills, crappie and largemouth bass. I have been tipping them with wax worms. I fish with a vexilar and the fish will raise to the spoon but will not bite without the wax worm tip.

This has been my go to bait for the last year. started the year fishing kokanee salmon by jigging it fast with a short pause. it puts them in a feeding frenzy and the strike it on the drop or a 1 second pause. did not use any bait on hook. same time I caught perch by pausing it for a couple seconds. no bait. biggest perch that day was 1.5 pounds. have caught eastern brook trout, lake trout. rainbow trout, sunfish by tipping it with a piece of worm. I do downsize the hook too a # 12 round bend treble.

My son loves the Macho Minnow. It is not available, so this is the closest thing out there.
Great ice fishing jigging spoon
by Fly Finder
Have caught panfish and walleye on these. Great colors for the species I target
Good All Year
by dinkmaster -
I've used this jig to catch perch all year. I think if it were a little larger it would be good for walleye.

Go to presentation while ice fishing . Have learned to drop down and check holes even though locator doesn't indicate fish. Using an aggressive jigging action will attract the fish.

this lure works great when fishing over feeding fish but hooks will give a little and bend if you get the big one on

I've had limited use with this spoon, but I have caught fish and have confidence in it.
Great Lake Trout Spoon
by Central MA Fisherman -
Worked well for shore fishing for lake trout. Match the forage fish in the lake and retrieve with slight jerks and falls..simulates injured baitfish. Might suggest using a single hook to minimize injury to fish (conservation reasons). Otherwise good product!
Works for all fish

Cought everything from Bass to Bluegill through the ice.
Nice Jigging Spoon
by Central MA Salmon & -
Used to cast to lakers from shore. Casted well and easy to handle. Didn't catch anything with this particular lure, but I don't think the lure was the issue. I have caught lakers on similar spoons from Northland Tackle. The fishing in this lake is sporadic too..so with enough time put in, I would think it would be attractive to the lakers I was seeking.

by grizz -
I used it jigging for white perch, caught fish on about every drop for an hour.will use later for walleyes.the only fault I have if jigged too fast it will loop the line and tangle, but not as bad as the flex it spoon.this was my first time to use it will buy again.
