Product Details

The Nils USA Cordless Drill Auger lets you cut holes quickly and efficiently without the bulk of a gas auger. Its precision-cut chromium steel head delivers a stronger cutting surface that stays sharp through countless days on the ice, easily slicing through thick, hard ice with minimal pressure—ideal for chasing perch, walleye, or lake trout. Compatible with any 1/2-inch cordless drill set to low-speed or high-torque, this auger provides smooth, reliable performance with effortless portability. Each model includes an optional hand auger handle for manual drilling on thin ice or near spooky fish, plus a plastic head cover for safe transport. Finished in a durable orange powder coat with a black cutting head, it’s ready for early ice or deep midwinter conditions alike.

  • Compatible with 1/2 in. cordless drills (low-speed or high-torque recommended)
  • Chromium steel cutting head stays sharper longer and cuts efficiently
  • Optional hand auger handle for manual drilling versatility
  • Includes plastic cutting head cover for safety and blade protection

Please note: The drill shown in the image is for display purposes only and is not included

After years of indecision, I finally decided to purchase the Nills cordless 6 inch auger, and an 18 V Milwaukee brushless drill. They work beautifully. I was ice fishing the other day and drilled 12 to 15 holes with no difficulty whatsoever. I really like how lightweight and portable both are.

Ordered 2 weeks ago and finally got to use it today. Bought it cause my old gas auger leaks a little and I was just looking for something different. I'm am impressed. Paired with my brushless Milwaukee hammer drill(5amp/hr lithium ion batt) and it went thru 14" of ice just as good if not better than my gas auger. Only drilled 15-20 holes but could have drilled 100 easy
