I love these little clips for attaching ice fishing jigs.

by GREG -

I tie these little clips to the bottom of my fluorocarbon leaders on my ice fishing rigs. I use a Palomar knot to tie on the clip. I can then change jigs and lures without cutting the line and retying.

Great snap

by fishnate -

I purchased some of these to use with my ice fishing lures. What a great snap to use to allow the lure to swing freely and actively to attract fish. Small enough that they don't adversely affect the lures action or appearance. Fairly easy to change lures unless your hands are frozen. Definitely going to purchase some more!

Mustad Hook Snap

by dadlompoc -

Size 3 will float a dry fly and size 2 works for streamers. Caught many large mouth bass and pan fish using them. No problem attaching flies but can be difficult taking them off. At times they will hang up at the hook eye and have to be straightened.

good for ultra lights

by F3-RapalaAngler -

These are solid snaps for jigs and small cranks for ultra light fishing. I'd recommend them if you hate to retie

quick & light

by bill -

I use these for trout fishing with UL spinning. Small and unobtrusive for jigs and small plugs. If I'm using spinners & spoons I put a micro swivel a foot up the line.

Mustad 77145 Hook Snap

by mike -

I have used the No-Knot Fast Snaps and the larger ones are hard to get on and off my fly. The Mustad design make switching my flies easier. I use them when fly fishing for bass.

Great Product

by D.R. -

These are great for quick changing crankbaits. I've tried other brands, all costing more, and these are better. Easier to handle and very strong. Will be buying more.

Handy snaps!

by Dan

Handy little snaps. Use them for ice fishing, and have started to use them for trolling walleyes with a light leader and Rapala's. Work well and give lures a good action. Easy lure change as well.

Greatly simplifies changing flies

by Old Guy

I originally bought these from Herter’s back in 1960, but hadn’t seen them since. For fly fishing, it’s a quick way to change flies when you’re old and lack the dexterity of being young. Also, you don’t shorten the tippet each time you change flies. Tie one (size 3) on your leader before leaving home, then save time and frustration streamside. Sure glad I found them again.
