A Great Spoon!

by JPR -

The Luhr Jensen Krocodile is one of my go-to spoons. I have caught a wide variety of fish with Krocodiles including bowfin, large- and small-mouth bass, rock bass, and pike. It is available in a wide range of sizes and weights at FishUSA from 1/6 oz to 3/4 oz. It casts well, even in the wind, and is very durable. I caught a 36" bowfin on one. Bowfin have very powerful jaws and they have completely smashed spinners when I have hooked into them. With the Krocodile the fish did not even scratch the paint. An additional attraction is that Krocodiles are quite reasonably priced. If you want a tough spoon that catches a wide range of fish, this is it.

kroc spoons

by horsehackle -

Very durable, effective and easy casting. Perch finish takes lake trout from shore as well as largemouth. Have caught albacore on larger sizes in saltwater.

Best spoon on market

by Shelhamer -

These spoons are awesome. I have caught hundreds of browns, rainbows and lakers with them, and used the larger ones in canada for large lake trout and pike. They are a "casting" spoon!!! there are none on the market like it. They are perfect for shore casting. You can cast them a long way, which makes them awesome. Also they used to have the best colors out there on the market! but luhr-jensen is no longer and was bought out. It was family owned and an superb company and excellent customer service. Now they don't even offer a phone # . Now i have resorted to buying these spoons from where ever i can get them, BUT!!! they no longer offer anywhere near the color selection that they used to. The red-Magic color was by far the best color ever.

Best all around for Alaska lip blisterin

by Bear whisperer -

Nothing that swims in Southeast Alaska turns its nose up at this lure. This is soley responsible for a few hundred pounds of dolly varden ,cut throat, steelhead and the four species of salmon that run there during my summer stay. This year its the only thing in my tackle box. This works when nothing else will.Alot of my fishing buddys from 09' can painfully attest to it. It took all day to find a retailer for the product. In the color and weights I wanted .Thanks Fish U.S.A. for being on point.I wouldnt shop anywhere else. I think I should probably have some thing negative to say about the product. But I cant think of anything other than the ouch associated with loosing one.

Suspended Bass

by dodger2403 -

One of the best suspended bass baits on the market when used with 8 to 10 pound test fluorocarbon line. Big bass can't resist an injured baitfish fluttering down to the bottom and these are the perfect imitator!

Casts beautifully!

by tomdeke1 -

I'm a surf jockey - Of all the spoons available, the Krocodile is my favorite. It has the best action and handles/casts beautifully . The weight per size is perfect.

Krocodile Spoons

by dan the fisherman -

This is a great lure. I have used this lure for about 35 years. I have caught many trout over the years with this lure in Fall River, Ca. I find the Krocodile to be very depandable and easy to use. It is always a sure thing.

Catches Trout Well!

by kc -

Have been using this in 1/4oz, brass/fire. Caught a 17" cutthroat with this spoon on a first cast in an alpine lake at 3600'. I pretty much rotate between 3 favorite lures, this is tied for #1.
