Luhr Jensen Dipsy Divers are the standard for directional diving planers. The special round shape and resulting multi-directional feature set these Dipsy Divers apart from other divers and planers. This feature is made possible by the molded-in base plate weight that can be rotated in degrees. A shift right or left, as indicated on the base plate arrow, will cause the Dipsy to track to port or starboard.

  • Qty. per pack: 1 diver plus an attached O-ring

Please note: The Size 3/0 (Mini) Dipsy Divers do not have a trip mechanism or an O-ring.

Goes Deep

by Stingray -

I use the divers for trolling for Walleye in the lakes in Western NC. Many of the WNC lakes are over 100 ft deep. The fish are anywhere from 25 to 90 feet deep. The divers get you down into the zone. Easy to adjust the release tension. Generally just easy to use.

Set screw won't seat

by Tinyfisher

I ordered 4 of the 3/0 mini dipsies and on each once of them the screw that sets the directional plate on the bottom lid the diver won't tighten all the way. It seems the hole wasn't drilled deep enough. I'll be able to modify them to make them work, but a flaw in three design for sure.

dipsy diver

by downrigger -

I have used Dipsy's for some time in Michigan's great lakes and when I moved to Colorado I still find them to be great fish catchers. I highly recomend them for all trolling.

Dipsey Diver

by Icerat -

A great tool for trolling on lake Erie for Walleye. And giant Kings on lake Ontario. A must have for getting your presentation to where the fish are located in the water colum.

Top of the line equiptment

by W.B.

They are one of the best fish catching tools in my tackle Box. Once you get used to them and have the right rod and reel setup they can`t be beat.

Great Tool

Best thing to come along in years for deep water trolling for great lakes walleye and steelhead very easy to use once you get the settings right,it's not rocket science. Need a 9-10ft special dipsy rod when pulling the bigger dipsys.Use the new superlines with a nice linecounter reel and you will be set.Who ever invented this product is sitting on a beach somewhere sucking pina-coladas enjoying his royalites.LOL!!

Only way to go!

Great product. It does take some time to learn the finer points of how to use the diver. Every product has a learning curve and this one is no different. Proper use can be helped with the use of books about trolling which are well worth the cost.

No. 1 way to get deep for the 'eyes!

by Snake -

During the heat of the summer, we all know the walleye go deep, many times, 30 to 50 feet deeep. How to get to them, dipseys...of course. And the settings make it easy to get them away from the boat too. This is the main way I get down deep for my walleyes. R "Snake" Smith, Canton OH
