JawJacker Ice Rods are constructed with the strong, solid, IM7 graphite blanks that can withstand bending and wrangling fish for long periods of times. These rods are outfitted with lightweight ceramic guides to help protect the line. A unique feature of the JawJacker rods is the enlarged foregrip blank opening to prevent extra pressure and cracking. In addition, these rods have a screw down locking foregrip and fold down hook keeper. Utilize JawJacker Ice Rods with the JawJacker tip-up system to rule the ice this winter! The JawJacker Tip-Up is sold separately.

    I bought 2 of the 28” rods. I’m really impressed with the quality of these rods at this price. These are fast action rods and are a bit stiffer at the tip than what I was looking for in a 28” rod, but you can’t tell that when you buy online, and without holding in your hands first. But they are keepers and will find a useful purpose in my arsenal. If you’re looking for something high end for jigging 1/4oz to 3/8oz spoons or maybe a #3 or #5 rapala, the 28” is a great rod for that purpose. Wish they would offer them with a more moderate action or softer tip for lighter baits.
