Very good hooks. I have used these hooks for 20 years. I have caught thousands of salmon and stealhead using these hooks and never broke a hook. Even 40 pound Chinooks. Good resistance to dulling in rocks. They can be resharpened to a good point.

best hooks i have found for trout fishing. lightweight, and super sharp. much greater frequency of hook-ups with these compared to cheaper / other brands. the only downside is that they cost more than Eagle-claw or generic hooks. But if you value quality and performance, these cannot be beat.

Starting using these in Size 10 and 8 this season. Hookup ratio definitely improved as well as less pullouts .only gripes were the red came off fairly quickly while in use to show gold,went with black nickel no problem. Also wished the Size 10 came in bulk packs like the size 8 packs do. Wish size 12 was an option.
