Gajo Ned Rig Soft Baits are versatile segmented worm-like plastics that can crush smallmouth bass every way from Sunday. This Gajo Baits Ned rigging plastic is juicy for other finesse techniques. The length is more than adequate for a wacky rig right from the package. If you want to shorten it, use scissors to cut a slot between segments, and run a hook through the end Texas rig style. The soft plastic is pliable to quickly put a hook point through yet durable enough to withstand repeated attacks. If one segment starts to get beat up from those fish mouths, cut out that segment and re-rig. The bait works with drop shots, too.
The Gajo soft bait, described as semi-buoyant, carries a ton of action under the water that the smallies can't resist clamping down the bite. The Gajo Ned Rig Bait is slightly impregnated with salt to add a little flavor. In addition to cutting them to your desired length, you can further customize by adding a UV coating or soaking overnight in your favorite scents/flavors. However, they have proven to be highly effective "naked" without further alterations necessary. The bait is a wonderfully adaptable temptation. Caught a ton of fish on these. I had bag of each color and it didn't seem to matter which one I used. These definitely have an action that fish aren't used to seeing.
