The Frabill Telescoping Lure Retriever helps bass, pike, musky, and walleye anglers save hard baits, jigs, and terminal tackle when a cast hangs in tree tops, log jams, boat docks, and other snag-filled cover. To free a bait, wrap the fishing line around the spiral head, guide it down to the snagged lure, and push the lure away from the obstruction. The lightweight three-piece tubular aluminum handle keeps the tool easy to manage in the boat, and the cam lock handle system gives you the reach needed to work through tough snags. It closes to 68 in. for storage and extends to 15 ft. when you need extra length to reach over docks, brush, and shoreline cover.

It’s exactly as advertised and appears to be well made. I did not realize that it was not going to fit in my rod locker, so I would suggest knowing this. I have to strap it down on the deck.
