Fiskas Tungsten jigs-epoxy & metallic

by cold-front -

I am very pleased with the epoxy jigs. They hold their glow very well, and the fish loved them as well. The metallic jigs were a fish magnet as well. Both jigs sink like a rock, and get back down to the fish quickly. I am very happy with my purchase. When I need more I'll be back to FishUSA!!

My go to's

by Sean -

The 3mm are awesome on gills and crappie. My favorite colors are glow and glow yellow spot. Seems like i can always get fish to hit these when nothing else is working. Just tip them with a couple spikes or mousee's. Make sure you have plenty because northerns seem to like them as well.

Great Ice Jigs --- ALL YEAR 'ROUND!

by Nickmeister

I use these all year 'round -- these Fiskas jigs are so versatile, for so many different presentations, even in current with a tiny red San Juan bloodworm tied onto hook (great for large Browns, Rainbows). Or if using your "glow" jigs in heavy, deep murky waters such as during Spring run-off, well just dip your glow jig into a bit of "Oil of Anise" and they will smell their way to your jig-bait before they even see it! I like to use a tiny half-a-waxworm pinched onto hook for my crappies that are down past 20 feet -- also I switch from my favorite sz. 5&6 down to size 3 for those shallow crappies that come into 3-foot deep shallow bays (in early Spring), trimmed with 1/4 inch piece of natural worm, sliced on diagonal at both ends. I tie flies all year 'round, so I also like to pre-tie a few of these jigs with VERY small lengths of maribou or even down-feather, in pale pink, lime and flesh tones. These jigflies "dance" in the slightest current, and REMAIN AT RIGHT ANGLE to the line !
