    For the price it beats other rods that cost double, if not more. Good all around panfish rod. The only reason it gets 4 stars is because the handle feels a bit wimpy. Would recommend overall

    Tip top was misaligned, but that was easily fixed. Stripper guide should be larger b/c blank flexes down to EVA foam rod handle and forces line at an extreme angle under load. Plastic rings on rod han… Read More

    Tip top was misaligned, but that was easily fixed. Stripper guide should be larger b/c blank flexes down to EVA foam rod handle and forces line at an extreme angle under load. Plastic rings on rod handle are annoying & add extra weight, but I just cut them off. Lastly, it does not have a hook keeper & it really should. I will add 1 later - for now, I'm using an oversized split ring and small zip tie. If FishUSA fixes these issues, it will be a 5-star ice rod - esp. for the price on sale. Overall, 4 stars.

    One of best rods I’ve ever owned. Super sensitive tip. Can even see the push up bite of a crappie. Picking up a few more to add to the collection.

    Got the rod at this years ice tournament as an entry prize. It’s absolutely amazing!! So sensitive you can feel the crappie breathe on it. Enough backbone to handle the bass too. FishUSA Flex ice rods quickly became my #1 go to rod! Price point is as equally incredible at 20 bucks.

    I purchased this rod as an alternative to an ice fishing noodle rod. I have fished it several times in 2025. It fishes like a light action rod. Nice for most panfish lure applications. Easy hook set and nice action when fighting a fish. It was challenging to detect light biting, finicky fish when comparing to the sensitivity of a noodle rod action. Overall nice rod for purposes described.
