I never heard of these until a few weeks ago while visiting my in-laws in Montana. I took gear with me with plans of fishing 4 days, but while at the store to get out of state permit I had to do a bit of shopping.... The name trout Attack caught my attention and first thing I thought was too big for trout and never really thought of a soft plastic jig as a worthwhile trout bait. But I pick up a pack of the Glo color and headed to my old spot on the Missouri river.it was a slow fishing morning with a strong current and more weeds than I remembered. I figured I would give this a try and 3nd cast a 22 plus inch rainbow crushed it, I continued with it and caught nothing smaller than 16 inches. Next day we hit the river about 15 miles away, and the thing just kept producing hits of rainbows and browns. Well, I made sure to shop and pick up a few more in different color and The larger version called Snak Attack to try for river smallmouths back home. These are really unbelievable ! I haven't written this much since college. Don't cheat yourself, give the Trout Attack or Snrak Attack a try. I dont think you will regret it...

Where has this gem been my whole life. Just bought these and took them to the river day after reception. Do not let the size two hook (large for stock trout) through you off of purchasing this swimbait. I went to the river and caught a dozen or so Rainbows in a few hours time. I could have landed more, but the size two hook was too large for some of the smaller trout to take hold of. However, I could see them trying their hardest to inhale this bait. I bought one package of each color to see which ones would work the best in the clear water I fish. White seemed to work best; black a close second. The bright colors worked well for the smallmouth bass that also reside in the river. I caught three times as many (which was a ton) smallies as I did trout. Downside: these do not come in smaller sizes. I would like to see this with a size six & 1/32oz for the smaller fish to grab (small trout taste good too). I plan to purchase a half dozen more packages in each color for the fall and winter.

At Montuak State Park I filled out a limit (4) of nice rainbows in about 45 minutes using white; that does not include a couple of small ones I deliberately let shake off, and a nice one that I horsed in and lost. A couple of guys fishing around me even asked what I was using! Effective whether swimming, jigging, ripping, shaking, etc. This is a very versatile bait, you will not be disappointed. I will be stocking up on several packs of this jewel! Can't wait to try the black color this fall.
