Product Details

The Drennan Crystal Loafer Float may be just the edge you need to be successful on those low and clear water days. Light and extremely tough, the crystal clear float is especially effective when fish are spooked under gin-clear water conditions. The Drennen Loafer is ideal for obtaining a clean strike with minimal disturbance at the surface of the water.

Each Crystal Loafer Float is marked with a gram weight on the side, which is not the weight of the float itself, but rather the amount of weight in grams that the float will support. This strike indicator is also popular for use in shallow fast-flowing water – they are unobtrusive and their buoyancy offers excellent visibility. Look over the weight each supports and choose a Drennan Crystal Loafer Float for low, clear, or turbulent water.

Stealthy low-water float

Sometimes you want a really stealthy float in clear, low water conditions. That’s when I switch to Drennan Loafers from my bigger and brighter floats. Definitely worth carrying a few. Small tip means you can’t track them as far as a bigger float, but that’s the trade off for stealth.

Amazing creek float

I do a ton of small river and creek fishing. This float is PERFECT for finesse trout and steelhead fishing. It’s available in various sizes to meet the conditions your fishing. And like I said FINESSE. Nothing more rewarding then dialing in picky trout and getting them to bite. Commonly anglers look at light line and small hooks for trout/steelhead but do not forget your float plays a huge role in that success as well. I highly recommend the drennan loafer.
