    Really stout at the base with a very flexible tip. Haven't had them out on the water but look like a good bang for the buck

    Great rods! I have been using the 8 ft. medium rod for Dispys rods the last two seasons with great results. NO rods failed. I run six Dipsy rods on any trip. I Run # 0 and #1 divers off the rods in waves up to 5 ft with complete confidence. These rods preformed way better than expected. At $20.00 They are a steal.

    I have been using these rods on Lake Erie for three years now. I have them matched up with Okuma Magda reels for planer boards and Daiwa Great Lakes Series reels for dipsey diver fishing. These rods have performed very well. They have withstood some rough handling and rough seas. I have broken two rod tips but both were from our own fault. I steeped on one in heavy seas and the other was pinched in a door onboard. I would highly recommend these quality rods for trolling hands down. I have 10 planer board rods and six dipsey diver rods. Yes 16 total and they have performed better than ever expected. Things I like about them is the ability to handle big fish , nice line guides and having all the same rods for your lines when fishing allows you to see the tension on all the same rods allowing the slightest difference in pull.
