    I actually love the rod with the exception of the reel seat being junk. When installing the reel the front collar separated somewhat, I have owned over 100 rods over the years and have never had this happen. I decided to not return it because it is such a good rod otherwise.

    This rod is a great ultralight rod. Just a pure pleasure to fish with. The action when fighting a fish the best that I have found. Bought the 6 and 6ft 6.

    I have been wanting a long ultralight stick for years and found this one. The quality of the components and build of the rod is incredible considering the price. I have built many spin and fly rods over the years and could not have done better. Guides are perfectly straight inline and that is tough on a long rod like this. I have not used it yet but it’s going fishing in a month and will test it then but I have no worries it will perform. Wish I had this years ago. Great product and it shows typical DAIWA excellence. You cannot go wrong buying one of these rods and for the price it’s a steal.it brings back memories of my fishing for steelhead with those long lamiglass rods back then using only 6# line.
