I got to test my 6'.6" Presso 2 days ago, at Irvine lake. This rod is awesome, you can feel everything with this ultra light rod, I ended up catching a 3 pound bow with it, you can feel the bite and the fight. I highly recommend this rod to any ultralight trout fisherman!

I have had several trip to the creeks with my new Daiwa Presson Urtra Light rod and I must say it is my favorite. I highly recommend both the rod and FishUSA. I purchased my rod from FishUSA online and the transaction was smooth and shipping was fast. Thanks FishUSA....Archie

The Diawa Presso Ultra Light spinning rod is absolutely perfect in every way. I have the rod paired with a Penn ultra light reel with 4 lb test, and the combo rocks. Perfect for trout and steam fishing with bait or artificials. The rod has an awesome feel to it, and is quite powerful for such a light weight rod. I would recommend this rod to anyone.
Awesome rod for the money

Diawa Presso 8' ultralight rod
I took this rod to Quebec to fish for 10"+ Bluegills. We were catching 100+ per day. This rod would cast 1/16 oz. jigs beautifully. It was very light and had plenty of power to keep these big gills out of the weeds. Handled 4lb. Largemouth with ease also.
Light and sensative with power when needed

Daiwa Presso Spinning Rod
I now have two seven ft. 2 piece Presso rods. Buying the last Presso rod from Fishusa at their special sales price in November 2016 could not be beat from any other source . The rod is a joy to use for trout fishing in the Eastern Sierras. I doubt that any other brand spinning rod could be better. The Daiwa Spinmatic 2 piece spinning rod at the same seven length is a pretty decent rod; however, the Presso rod is significantly better in all around performance. I use these Presso rods with either a 1000 series Stradic, or 1000 series Symmetre, spinning reel. I have had excellent results catching numerous sizeable trout to four pounds with this setup at Crowley Lake in the Eastern Sierras.

very happy that I bought this 8 ft rod. I have daiwa spinmatic rod but presso match better, last weeke I was fishing 3 days in row, I feel every bait and I catch a lot of fish including 18 inch L.bass. works good with different tackles

I purchased the 7'6" UL for throwing small 1/32 to 1/16 oz jigs for panfish and I could not be happier. I am a tackle fanatic always looking for something better and I can now stop looking. This rod is a keeper and for the money you cannot beat it.
PSO802ULFS - Perfect balance and great sensitivity, and smooth casting makes this rod perform much better than the price would suggest.

I've only tried this in a local lake for trout due to the current weather conditions and rivers surging. It is paired with a Pflueger Supreme XT using 10lb 8x braid that not only balances well it also matched the colors on the rod. Amazed at the sensitivity over my previous Ugly Stick Light (Discontinued) which I still use on occasion with an Abu Cardinal 100U. The Daiwa Presso is my new go-to rod for sensitivity and sheer pleasure of using. The ultra light nature of this rod makes catching even smaller fish fun and exciting. The fast action tip and UL light IM7 blank really allows me to feel when the trout are just playing or has actually bitten for me to set the hook. For the heck of it, I recently took it squidding in the Puget Sound. Due to the sensitivity and feedback I get, I am able to jig and catch squid even when they are shy. Casting with this rod is so smooth, making it extremely easy to place the lures/jigs where you want it. Not rated for salt - extra care needed.

I had been following the Daiwa Presso Spin Rods for about a month. As soon as I saw a sale at FishUSA I jumped at opportunity. I ordered 3 Daiwa Presso 6'6" UltraLight rods. They were shipped right away and I received them in just couple of days. I have not fished with them yet but I'm sure they will work out fine. I mainly wanted to comment on the quick shipping I received. Thank you Fish USA.
Great rod for trout and bass 9’ length
by SteelCityAngler -
Bought this rod to Fish the Yough for trout and smallmouth and wow does it deliver. Saw the good reviews here and decided to try it out. The 9' in length is great for the mid to larger rivers. With two small shot it can cast surprisingly far with 6 lb mono. I'll Most likely be buying a smaller size in the future for small streams. Oh, it's even better with a 15% off when they go on sale.

I bought the 6'6 UL 2 piece version. Not a bad rod but I like my 6'6 UL TFO Trout Panfish rod better.
Disappointed with the quality of the cork
Rod works great except that the cork on top of the reel seat keeps becoming more and more compressed causing the reel to keep coming loose. I'm afraid that the rod will not hold up for the long haul. Fishusa did not respond to me inquiring about the issue and Daiwa wants me to ship it across the county for them to look at it to decide if they will warranty. :(
