    Nice rod, seems quality. I was surprised how easy it pulls in wire. No issues with wire getting caught between the rollers yet. Only used it once, happy so far.

    Rods are heavy, which is to be expected from a roller rod however, what I don’t like is I got the 8’6” and the top half is at least 6-10” longer than the bottom half. Makes it more of a pain to store than necessary, but the absolute worst thing about the rod is the swivel tip and the gap between the roller and the side guide. Your wire will get caught in there no matter how careful you are. It’s a poor design. Love this line of rods for other trolling applications but wish I would have just bought a lighter rod with metal guides and added a twili tip. Learn from my mistake
