I have the DT3, 4 and 5 in these for some fiberglass rods and they work so sweetly. The loops on the end are super convenient too.
Low memory-Great for cold weather

This is a great all around work horse of a flyline, especially in cold fishing conditions. I outfit all my clients reels with this line. It is especially useful in very cold weather conditions for it retains its flexibiltiy (low memory)
Very Good Product.

I have used the 444 for several years on the Great Lakes tribs for steelhead and Kings. The line performs as well as more expensive lines and lasts for many seasons if properly cleaned and cared for.
My line of choice

I have been using the 444 for my inland stream fishing (4wt) and more recently for Kings, steelies and browns on the Lake Ontario Tribs. It has performed flawlessly in both applications. The classic roll casts as well as some of the more specialized lines I have used and remains supple in the coldest conditions.
Classic line still first rate

For fly fishing on moderate to large size rivers. Guide in Montana I regularly fish with still fishes the "peach," so I tried one. Been on the river with it only three days, but so far so good. Less "memory" than most other lines I've been using. Don't know how long it will last.
