Product Details
The Cortland 444 Classic Sink Tip Fly Line helps fly anglers reach the feeding zone with streamers, nymphs, and other subsurface flies in streams, rivers, ponds, and lakes where trout, salmon, steelhead, carp, bass, pike, and panfish hold below the surface. This weight-forward sink tip fly line combines the proven handling of the 444 Classic with a 10 ft. integrated sinking tip, a floating head and running line, and an aggressive taper that casts easily and helps turn over heavier flies with control. The supple, glass-smooth finish supports quick pickups and clean mends, while the braided nylon multifilament core maintains flexibility in warm and cold freshwater conditions. Choose the Type 3 Brown/Peach line when you want a 3 to 4 inches per second sink rate for moderate depth, or step up to the Type 6 Black/Mint Green line for a 6 to 7 inches per second sink rate when fish set up deeper and you need to keep your presentation down longer.
