Cornfield pairs CNC-machined aluminum clamps with an aluminum tube and all stainless steel hardware for dependable freshwater use, then adds a heavy-duty black protective coiled hose made exclusively for Cornfield Fishing Gear that splits end-to-end for quick cable insertion. The tumbled aluminum clamp finish remains natural aluminum rather than painted black, and Cornfield recommends wrapping the hose with black electrical tape near the MEGA Live molded cable holders to prevent puckering. Clamp placement allows smooth stow and deploy, and anglers can still align the transducer with the trolling motor arrow even when clamps sit slightly off-line.

The tube that they give with the mount will not work with mega live as the wire protectors will not fit inside the tube. You basically are getting 2 pieces of aluminum and screws for hundreds of dolla… Read More
