I've had great success catching cohos in SE Alaska rivers with the Pink Scale Chartruese Tip UV. Only problem with this lure is that after 4-5 hits by coho the colorful label comes off. Blue Fox needs to figure-out a way to prevent this from happening.

I made the switch from a Mepps #5 squirrel tail as I fish for Northern and they tend to tear up tails bad. I had a chance on a recent Canada trip to see the Blue Fox work. It had a much greater blade presentation and made the Mepps look tiny. While I understand I was looking at a #5 Mepps and a #6 Blue Fox, the difference was evident. I ordered some and was not disappointed. The hooks are much stronger and no squirrel tail to worry about. It was a huge producer on Pike. I would stay with a #6. Only issue was the colored center section (not the blade) did not hold paint well. Minor issue as it went from blue to silver and still worked. Might just order the silver center or possibly coat the paint with a product to keep it coming off. Recommend it!
