Product Details

Berkley Trilene Micro Ice Monofilament Ice Line is great for finicky fish in ultra-clear water. Micro Ice is the smallest, strongest mono you can fish. The low-stretch design provides superior lure control and enhances sensitivity for quicker hooksets. This line is soft and pliable and resists kinks and coiling under ice fishing conditions. Micro Ice's small diameter makes it perfect for fishing small baits, but it is still strong enough to pull a lunker through the ice. If you like ice fishing with mono, you'll love Trilene Micro Ice!

  • Durable and long-lasting
  • Low visibility makes the line disappear in clear water
  • Spool length 110 yards
  • Quantity per pack: 1

This line makes using #14 ice spoons easy. This line resists coiling, stays fexible in the coldest weather, and holds up to the abuse of ice fishing. And at the reasonable price, you don't feel guility about keeping fresh line on the reel. I use several different weights, depending on the application, and yes, there is a huge difference between 1, 2, and 3 pound test.

I use this line to fish for finiky Perch in depths of up to 60+ feet jigging. I find it is the only line that shows the little bites and gets the job done when the hook is set. I have also caught Browns up to 6 pounds with this line, no problem. I have used it for at least 6 years and I really have nothing to say about it that is bad. I would highly reccomend it to anyone.

I have tried many different lines and keep coming back to this one. Open water I prefer the super lines but for ice fishing can't stand them. I have caught plenty of panfish and walleye on this line (2# and 4# clear). Set the drag loose and the line will hold up.
