I use this product fishing for steelhead trout. Roll it into a ball (you don't need a lot), place it over a tiny treble hook (size 14 to 18), cast it to the bottom using a split shot about 18" above the hook, into a deeper area (where trout normally hide) with slow current, and chances are good that you'll soon be fighting a steelhead! A word of caution: keep your drag loose or bail open to prevent the fish from taking off with your pole if you're not holding it! Yellow and chartreuse are my favorite colors.

Fish it on the bottom because it floats. A split shot or sinker up the lie will keep it sitting @ a depth u want.

This product works great. Trout and panfish love it and it molds to the hook so u dont lose your bait.
