    My all time favorite. Owned one for over twenty years. Still my favorite rod even with all the new brands and types some of which I also own. Now I buy them for my children also.

    I have been buying lightning rods for years. Last year a bought 3 more. I love the light weight and the composite cork grip but I hate these micro eyes they put on the new rods. We use bobber stops on our lines a lot. Doesn't matter which ones, these rods do not cast. Bobber stop gets caught in the micro eyes every time. Berkley please consider going back to standard size eyes. So people remember this if you use bobber stops a lot.
