Seems to out fish unscented Grubs and other baits enough to warrant the Cons of using it! Last couple of times out, the White, Motor Oil and New Penney on 2 -6 ounce lead head Jigs have been the "Go-to" bait/lure for Big Lingcod, Cabezon, Rockfish and Flatfish like Pacific Halibut, Skate and Starry Flounder. Took a Puker (Charter Boat) out of Depoe Bay where Skipper wanted us to use ONLY what he supplied, finally convinced him to let me use my own gear by telling him that I could out fish the others on board combined or I would pay him double for the trip. Per his observations, I not only caught more fish, but my fish were all larger. With the exception of one person that caught a 26" Lingcod, all the rest of the "Boat Limit" of Lingcod were caught by me. Skipper still got a good tip at the end, however he did require that I stuck around to have a beer with him so he could ask me some questions about my baits and scents that I was using!

It swims well. It was a little bigger than I anticipated and probably even needed. Nonetheless, it moved real pretty in the water, only wish there were some fish around to see if it really worked.

One of the best baits for keeper size fluke. Make sure you have ate least 2 or 3 different colors in your bag. If you are fluke fishing, don't leave the dock without them.
