Lingosaurus cannot resist
outstanding on rockfish

Used the white 6" grub on rockfish on a very slow day. I used the same bait all day. I caught my limit while the other 3 anglers on my boat struggled to catch a single fish using live sardines and cut squid. I couldn't keep the fish away.
Fish ON !!

Ling Cod, Cabazone, and Sea bass just can't resist. Out fished my husband 5:1 as he insisted using an unscented grub. Amazing results!! They are a bit soft so the big fish with teeth end up severing the tails. Don't leave them out of the bag or they dehydrate quickly. You have to try these...
Catches bigger fish.

Used the 6in grub fluke fishing on party boats and from the beach. Rigged on a dropper loop 12in above a bucktail jig and a conventional squid killie rig. Almost all of my 2001 fluke [up to 5lbs] came on the GULP 6in grub. Will be waiting for the 2012 season impatiently. I'm not totally happy with the bags they come in. Half rip wide open and will no longer seal.
Never discontinue, add an 8
by Kahuna
Higher bite ratio over other grubs resulting in more grouper. Many gags over 30" when trolled on a 5oz Berlkey needs to add an 8" to line up
Gulptastic!

Action of grub is enticingly deadly when fishing for large fluke(flounder). Would like to see grub a little more durable as they tend to tear easily!
Wiil definetly order again

Summer flounder fishing.
A GULP! surprise
by gzb -
I thought these were too big for speckled trout - drifting over shallow grass beds. My grand-son insisted and I hooked him up. He immediately began hooking up on trout and I had to admit he was the best fisherman in the boat. These baits work.

Works Really Well With Large Bucktails
by AJ Hunter -
I use Gulp whilst fishing for Grouper. It works well albeit rather expensive at almost[$]a piece. However, with grouper at $20.00 per lb, it is worth the expense. Also used them for amberjacks
smoked them again

this was the third purchase of these baits. first two fish one them was 20.5 and the other 23 while no one else around had brought in a keeper most using live spot.

Berkley Gulp Saltwater Grub 6 - Sardine
by Mr. Ling -
My fishing specialty is Rock Cod or "Bottom Fishing" in the ocean. I started using the Berkley 6" grubs a few years ago with great success! In particular they seem irresistable to Ling Cod. A few weeks ago I started casting the Sardine color (discontinued by Berkley-Bummer)with a Chartruese, 3oz. lead head on a light weight bass rod and low profile reel. The results were an 8lb Cabazon Cod and a 26lb 4oz Ling Cod that put me in first place for the $3,000 Ling Cod Derby that is currently going on with boat I was on. I have also caught two Lings at a time with these grubs. So I'm happy but unhappy that they discontinued the Sardine Color.
Works for fluke,will always use
