Been wanting to try these for a while and good ice in a local lake with a good lake trout population seemed like the perfect opportunity. Rigged the 3/4 oz up with a 4 salmo paddle tail and it was game on. Has the same wide helicopter fall you get with a jigging rap.and gets good horizontal movement when snapped while vertical jigging. Rides just a little nose up in the water but the fish didnt seem to mind. Cant wait to try them in a casting situation. Hooks are solid, long shanked, and sticky sharp.
