    I simply flick my wrist just a half inch the lure will do the rest. It was cold and dark and I felt all alone. I had it tipped with a minnow head and walleye were few and thin so I didnt want to mess it up. The Flasher showed a fish I held it still and I slowly raised the rod. The rod had a distinct thud on the handle!!! A quick hook set and it was all over but the crying.
