First time I used a 1/3 ounce gold colored Do-Jigger I landed several perch through the ice. Then something huge struck and broke off my four pound test ice line like it was nothing. I tied on a nickel one of the same size and loosened the drag a little. Another vicious strike and game on. Several minutes and a couple of drag peeling runs later I landed my personal best largemouth bass, probably six pounds. I released it because it was barely hooked. Never had a jig produce so well and so quickly.
