The new foam construction comes in 30% lighter, which helps improve casting efficiency and reduces splash on presentation, while the neutral-colored post stays less visible to fish for a subtler drift in clear or pressured water. Air-Lock also increased suspension power by 25%, giving anglers better strike detection on small nymphs, egg patterns, and other finesse rigs where soft takes matter, and the durable foam resists leaks, dents, cracks, holes, and pops through normal use. The easy-adjust locking nut system stays secure without kinking the leader, keeps presentation clean without sacrificing leader strength, and still attaches the same simple way by removing the nut, placing the leader in the groove, and tightening it back down.
