Product Details

The Avet LX MC G2 Lever Drag Conventional Reel gives offshore and Great Lakes anglers a compact, powerful single-speed reel with added casting control for trolling, live baiting, bottom fishing, and casting heavy rigs to species like tuna, striped bass, salmon, lake trout, grouper, and halibut. Available in left- or right-hand retrieve with or without a glide plate, the LX MC G2 combines a powerful lever drag system with an adjustable strike pre-set, helping anglers stay in control during long runs and sudden surges near the boat.

Precision-machined 6061 T-6 marine-grade aluminum, stainless steel components, and stainless steel gears provide the strength needed for demanding saltwater and freshwater use. The Magic Cast adjustable magnetic anti-backlash cast control system uses Lenz Law to reduce line overrun and bird's nests while casting, improving control with heavy baits and changing wind conditions. A true one-piece frame improves strength-to-weight balance, while anodizing increases corrosion resistance and finish durability. Inside, 8 ball bearings, reliable Avedrag dry carbon fiber drags, a redesigned silent dog and gear anti-reverse system, and a loud alarm clicker keep the reel smooth, dependable, and ready for hard-fighting fish.
