The Avet SXJ G2 Lever Drag Conventional Reel gives offshore and nearshore anglers a compact single-speed reel with the strength, drag control, and corrosion resistance needed for jigging, live bait, bottom fishing, and trolling with 15–40 lb. line. Its true one-piece frame uses precision-machined 6061 T-6 marine-grade aluminum with stainless steel components, stainless steel gears, and an anodized finish for saltwater durability. The adjustable lever drag with strike pre-set and Avedrag dry carbon fiber drag system delivers smooth, controlled pressure, while the silent dog and gear anti-reverse system reduces handle back-play for reliable hooksets and steady cranking. Available with or without a glide plate, the SXJ G2 also features eight stainless steel ball bearings, a 5.3:1 gear ratio, a loud alarm clicker, an offset machined handle arm, and a large soft-touch handle knob.
