The Avet SX MC G2 Lever Drag Conventional Reel gives saltwater anglers smooth drag control, magnetic casting support, and compact cranking strength for tuna, yellowtail, dorado, striped bass, bottom fish, and other hard-pulling species. Its patented Magic Cast adjustable magnetic anti-backlash cast control system uses Lenz Law to help prevent line overrun and bird nests while casting live bait, irons, and jigs, while the powerful lever drag system with adjustable strike pre-set helps dial in pressure during hard runs and deep-water fights.

Precision-machined 6061 T-6 marine-grade aluminum and stainless steel components, an anodized finish, and a redesigned true one-piece frame give the SX MC G2 strength without unnecessary weight. Precision-machined stainless steel gears, 8 ball bearings, reliable Avedrag dry carbon fiber drag washers, and Avet’s redesigned silent dog and gear anti-reverse system help reduce handle back-play under load, while the offset machined handle arm, large soft-touch knob, redesigned loud alarm clicker, and optional Glide Plate add control and comfort on the water.
