The Avet HXJ MC Raptor Plus Three-Speed Lever Drag Conventional Reel gives offshore anglers powerful drag output, three-speed versatility, and adjustable cast control for amberjack, yellowfin tuna, bluefin tuna, reef fish, jigging, and deep-dropping applications. The Magic Cast Control System uses adjustable magnetic anti-backlash control to help reduce line overruns and bird nests while improving spool management during casting, live bait presentations, and controlled freefall descents. Its patented three-speed platform lets anglers shift from fast jig recovery, to a balanced mid-speed retrieve, to heavy low-gear cranking power when fish dig hard under the boat.

The Raptor Plus platform adds ergonomic upgrades that improve comfort and spool access during long offshore fights. A rounded side plate, improved frame shape, and reshaped crossbar make it easier to thumb line during retrieves and bait drops. Precision-machined 6061 T-6 marine-grade aluminum, stainless steel components, a redesigned true one-piece frame, and corrosion-resistant anodizing provide long-term saltwater durability. The patented dual carbon fiber drag system, precision-machined stainless steel gears, silent dog and gear anti-reverse system, redesigned loud alarm clicker, and 9 stainless steel ball bearings support smooth operation under heavy drag loads. An offset machined handle arm reduces cranking wobble, while the large soft-touch handle knob improves grip and control.
