The Avet JX G2 Lever Drag Conventional Reel gives saltwater and Great Lakes anglers added line capacity, smooth drag control, and steady cranking power for live bait fishing, trolling, jigging, and bottom fishing for tuna, mahi, striped bass, grouper, snapper, salmon, lake trout, and other hard-fighting fish. Available in left- or right-hand retrieve with or without Glide Plate, the JX G2 pairs precision-machined 6061 T-6 marine-grade aluminum with stainless steel components, precision-machined stainless steel gears, and an anodized finish for corrosion resistance around spray, salt, and long days on the boat.

Its re-designed true one-piece frame improves strength-to-weight performance, while the powerful lever drag system with adjustable strike pre-set gives anglers repeatable drag control during the fight. Reliable Avedrag dry carbon fiber drags provide smooth stopping power and wear resistance, and Avet’s patented silent dog and gear anti-reverse system uses more engagement teeth to reduce handle back-play. A re-designed loud alarm clicker, offset machined handle arm, large soft-touch handle knob, and 8 ball bearings round out a dependable conventional reel for rod holders, rail work, and hands-on presentations.
